One of the features available on all offers is the ability consumers can have to share the offer (the landing page) with friends and family and on social media, a great way to convert your consumers into ambassadors.

The option to share the offer appears in three different scenarios:

  • After the consumer opts-in to your landing page.

  • On the opt-in emails.

  • As a pop-up when the user is ready to upload his receipt and registers to claim the rebate.

  • On the last step in the flow, once the consumer successfully claimed the offer.

Social sharing plays a vital role in marketing campaigns by expanding reach, increasing brand visibility, building credibility, driving engagement, and boosting landing page traffic. It leverages the power of social networks to spread your message, connect with your target audience and achieve your marketing objectives.

When people share your content on social media, it extends the reach of your marketing campaign. Each share exposes your brand and message to a wider audience, potentially reaching individuals who may not have been aware of your campaign otherwise.

The available platforms for social sharing are the following:

TWITTER  - If a consumer chooses to share the offer via Twitter, the “social text” filled on the onboarding form will be displayed on a tweet, adding the landing page URL at the end of the post.

FACEBOOK - By choosing Facebook, a post will automatically be created, sharing the landing page link, with no automatic text. Consumers will be able to type in any message on the post.

PINTEREST - The social sharing on Pinterest is done using the brand's logo that was provided during the onboarding process, as Pinterest is a picture-sharing social media.

E-MAIL - Sharing the offer via e-mail will carry the social text filled on the onboarding form, along with the landing page URL.

All scenarios are established by the API of the social media, Ourcart is not able to change the images displayed or the way events occur. The text to be shared is the mechanism that can be edited and adjusted by you, along with the Landing Page URL.
